Developing an Exit Strategy Early

Business owners are so focused on working their business and keeping their tax liability low that they rarely stop to think about what’s next. But there is a next, isn’t there?

The majority of business owners are great managers who have worked in their business for years, and now they want to retire. The problem? They’re not prepared and it might take years to get their business ready to sell at the best price. So, they either settle for less than they planned, so they can exit now, or they keep working long after they really want to.

What’s the solution? Start with an exit plan early, so when it comes time to sell your business, you’ll be ready and your business will be attractive to potential buyers.
