Developing a better healthcare experience for all
MaNaDr’s platform aims to be patients’ trusted companion, offering a seamless experience in accessing medical care
Some may know MaNaDr as a telemedicine company, but one of its key services is functioning as an “intelligent information superhighway” connecting doctors and patients instantly.
Its health operating system allows a secure exchange of patient data among healthcare providers and Internet of Medical Things devices, among others, helping doctors make more informed decisions to facilitate better and more efficient care for patients.
“We wish to transform how people consume medical help,” says Dr Siaw Tung Yeng. He is MaNaDr’s co-founder and co-chief executive officer.
Since its launch in 2017, MaNaDr’s staff strength has grown to around 100, with more than 600 clinics and 1,500 doctors on its platform.
Outside of Singapore, users from the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, Indonesia, India and Malaysia use its platform regularly.
From 2019 to 2022, its revenue grew from $600,000 to over $9 million. Over 100,000 patients use the company’s telemedicine services each month, and more than a million users are on its platform.
The company’s growth led them to rank in the Fastest Growing Companies 2024 list compiled by The Straits Times and Statista.
While the Covid-19 pandemic may have encouraged more people to use telemedicine and partly contributed to the firm’s growth, Dr Rachel Teoh, MaNaDr co-founder and co-CEO, believes the company must stay relevant.
“Our commitment is to consistently deliver quality and convenient medical care at an affordable price,” says Dr Teoh.
MaNaDr provides a forum where users can discuss various healthcare topics and symptoms.
Through its marketplace, MaNaDr also offers prescription-based healthcare and online consultations, along with handpicked healthcare products as well as supplements.

Dr Siaw describes MaNaDr as an amalgamation of medical LinkedIn, Facebook and Amazon. Looking ahead, MaNaDr intends to create a personal health ecosystem that is enabled by artificial intelligence and operates as a secure and comprehensive repository to help interpret health data.
Dr Teoh says: “Imagine an endocrinologist treating diabetes patients being able to access correlated eye exam results, potentially safeguarding patients’ eyesight, which is a crucial concern as those with diabetes are susceptible to eye diseases.”
By incorporating predictive healthcare, MaNaDr hopes its platform can be a lifelong healthcare companion to Singaporeans and other users in the region.
Dr Siaw says: “There is substantial work ahead to usher in technological innovations that can reshape the delivery and consumption of healthcare.”
