Developing Anti-Fragility

As I was driving through the Grand Mesa in the Western Slopes of Colorado. Seeing the mountains and canyons display such majesty It got me thinking about the kind of stress and exposure these mountains must have endured. For a video version of this you can Subscribe to the Get In the Mode Youtube channel to watch it on the day it is published.
The exposure to random elements, wind, rain, forest fires, blizzards and crazy weather patterns.? The Mesa after all is beyond robustness and resilience it has become what we call Antifragile.
Anti-fragility goes beyond resilience because it thrives on exposure, chaos and risk.? You remove those external factors and the mountains would become a mediocre hill.
You see we as humans as organic and biological creatures, can develop this quality, this remarkable quality of Anti-fragility.?
We can develop it when we develop the muscle for it.
How do we do that? We develop that muscle when we invest time to master a craft, build a practice or a body of work, put ourselves in uncomfortable situations, not avoid difficult issues, raise our fitness levels, shock our bodies to do extraordinary things.
Being Antifragile is not just about weathering the storm or gritting your teeth to bear it. It is actually becoming “the work” The work of splendor. Leaving a remarkable life. Displaying majesty just like the Grand Mesa.
