AI is shaping our lives, be it in our offices, at our homes, in our schools and our society overall. AI is now more than just giving us intelligent notifications and alerts. It is now perceived to be Assistant, Teacher, consultant, doctor, psychologist, therapist, guard, technician, musician, photographer, video maker, , toy for a kid and much more. Its use cases are overwhelming. It is going to be everywhere very soon.

Executives, Professionals, Government officials and Politicians, All have to understand its implications, it’s potential and it’s value to shape this technology to serve our society to gain the maximum return from this tremendous development.

AI is fast becoming the cornerstone of IT and Digital Strategy of forward looking progressive enterprises as it is bringing the benefits to the businesses in terms of following:

1.????? Operational effectiveness and efficiency

2.????? Cost optimization

3.????? Revenue growth: Using AI in enhancing the offers, products and services and bringing the new one as well.

4.????? Disruptive use of AI; Core capabilities means using AI to differentiate with some innovation

There is a strong need to follow a methodical approach in this regards as follows:

1.????? Setting up the organization AI vision and AI ambition

2.????? Identifying use cases

3.????? Prioritizing use cases, identifying quick wins

4.????? Execution according to the defined roadmaps

There are two other important aspects in addition to the above, which are important for the success of AI roadmap as follows:

1.????? AI Ready Data

2.????? AI Governance, security, privacy, acceptable use, compliance etc.

AI Opportunity radar from Gartner is one of excellent categorization mechanism to identify the use cases. It covers AI Everywhere:

1.????? From internal (organization internal processes) and external (organization processes touching external stakeholders),

2.????? From everyday AI focusing on business productivity to game changing AI focusing on innovation.

Business productivity use cases are the low hanging fruits which can be prioritized and gaming changing ?ones need more time, effort and investment and might be planned for medium and long term implementation. Prioritization can be done through two parameters, one is the criticality of business need and the other is feasibility.
