Last week Trackit attended a network event hosted by Barclays at White Space in Norwich.
The event focused on how small/medium local businesses can work with the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the Norwich University of the Arts (NUA).
Over 50% of our employees graduated from the UEA including our Senior Developers. We have continued success of bringing in newly accredited IT Graduates focussed initially on product support and professional services and then moving into junior development/ technical engineering roles.
The event was a great way to understand the additional benefits and services that both universities can offer including project based and consulting work.
The post presentation networking gave us an opportunity to mingle and discuss our requirements with staff from UEA and also Barclays.
A very informative evening and we will certainly be looking at ways we can work more closely with the UEA to bring future graduates into our business.
