Develop Training Wins Three-Year Tender to Train Yorkshire Water Staff

Develop Training, one the UK’s leading accredited providers of compliance, technical, and safety training, is thrilled to announce its successful bid to train operational staff at Yorkshire Water. Develop educates over 30,000 professionals annually, partnering with some of the UK’s most prominent organisations across sectors such as Utilities, Construction, Defence, Healthcare, Facilities Management, and Telecommunications.

Having had a long-standing relationship with Yorkshire Water for many years, the new contract with the utility provider will encompass the following lots:

• Lot 1 Health & Safety including Leadership: Comprehensive health and safety training, including leadership development to ensure a culture of safety at all organisational levels.
• Lot 2 Tools and Equipment: Training on the safe and effective use of various tools and equipment, as well as some plant machinery.
• Lot 3 Process Safety: Courses focused on process safety to prevent and mitigate risks associated with industrial processes.
• Lot 4 Technical: Technical training to enhance the skills and knowledge required for operational excellence in water utilities.

The contract term is set for three years, with the potential for two additional 12-month extensions, underscoring a long-term partnership commitment to enhancing the skills and safety of Yorkshire Water’s workforce.
