Three years ago, I'd have told you that branding is just for companies. Now I understand that as a professional, I have my own story to tell and goals, skills, and expertise to share. In today’s increasingly digital world, a personal brand is no longer a nice-to-have; it’s expected.
Personal branding is one’s story but the story I love to tell is that of how I work to understand and address issues in Toxic Work Spaces with the goal of helping create and support healthy work spaces and how I am also passionate about teaching leaders how to rest better and unplug.
My personal brand is more than a reflection of who I am today; it’s a road-map of where I want to go. In addition to understanding my existing skills and competencies by assessing my strengths and weaknesses as they relate to whichever industry or career I want to break into next.
By doing this, I have uncovered the skills and traits that make me distinct, as well as the areas where I need to improve or gain new knowledge in order to advance.
My personal brand is meant to highlight my strengths, establish a reputation, build trust, and communicate the unique attributes that I bring to my current industry-Toxic Work Spaces. Cultivated well, my personal brand will signal to clients whether or not I’ll be the right fit for an open or highly contested role.
In order to build a personal brand that accurately reflects my personal and professional identity, I first needed to redefine who I am. I had to be introspective, and create a list of my personal strengths and weaknesses.
I was guided on how to ask myself:
??In which areas of work do I excel?
??What motivates me?

??What characteristics have others complimented me on?
??Which projects have others had to help me with repeatedly?
??Which roles seem to drain my energy?
?? ??Which projects can I spend hours on without feeling overwhelmed or tired?
Now that you are here. I'd like us to work together…..
I work as a corporate speaker or trainer…. whichever you pick, feel free to contact me [email protected] and let's chat over coffee about my signature topics in the pic ??
