Hello, could you please introduce the client and the challenge they presented to CMC Global??

Our client is a leading Japanese company specializing in developing cloud computing systems for the government and large corporations.??

As a trusted technology partner providing solutions in the management and administrative processes for the Japanese government, CMC Global has helped our client digitize administrative procedures for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in Japan. This digitization aimed to streamline administrative tasks, enabling easy management and execution within the system and reducing manual effort.?

How did your team address the client's challenge and build the project team??

We have partnered with clients on numerous projects since 2019, but the most impactful project was maintaining and enhancing the client’s existing public service management system built on the Salesforce platform. The client also required new features such as request management, user management, account verification via TRUSTDOCK, and report visualization. Given the governmental nature of the project, the client imposed stringent standards for quality, information security, and cybersecurity.?

Our team operated using the Kanban/Agile methodology, which helped in task distribution and resource allocation.??

To quickly deliver products and adapt to all customers' needs, we established an offshore team and a dedicated team working directly with the client. On-site support staff will be available 24/7, ensure flexibility and prompt resolution of emerging issues,?

When new tasks or issues arose, the on-site team would join Q&A meetings to clarify the client’s concerns and requirements. Following this, the PM, tech lead, and BA would analyze the problem and devise solutions before involving the team members to address specific aspects of the work. This approach allowed us to respond swiftly and effectively to the client's needs, ensuring continuous support and high-quality deliverables.?


What was the biggest challenge the team faced during the project??

Initially, the client had very high expectations for both expertise and work ethics. At times, the Customer Satisfaction Score (CSS) was only between 75-80 points. As a project for a government partner, the production team had to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and incorporate various technologies like Heroku data platform integration, eKYC by TRUSTDOCK, and Datapatch to streamline data flow and enhance the system's resilience and modernity.?

Rather than being discouraged, these challenges motivated DJ7 team and CMC Japan to continually improve our expertise and optimize the client and end-user experience.?

What skills and knowledge did the team acquire to meet the client's technological needs??

Team members proactively sought to learn and earn additional Salesforce certifications, which helped in project execution and elevated CMCG to become one of the reputable Salesforce Consulting Partners in Vietnam.??

To address data limitations and the ever-changing Salesforce upgrades, the team researched and honed their skills on the Heroku data platform to enhance user experience in areas like registration, input validation, and custom features.?

The team's eagerness to learn and improve helped build the client's trust, turning them into a long-term partner who entrusts us with critical tasks requiring high expertise and security.?

Besides our competitive production overheads, our dynamic and skilled workforce made the client a long-term partner of CMC Japan. Our technological capabilities and dedication enabled us to develop scalable applications adhering to governor's limits and address Salesforce version upgrades.?

With the achievements so far, what are your future directions for the development of CMC Japan??

The DJ7 team is committed to continuously enhancing our technological capabilities and specializing in our skills to create and deliver the best possible value to our clients.?

Our journey with CMC Japan has just begun, and we are faced with many opportunities and challenges ahead. Currently, 30% of CMC Global’s workforce is dedicated to serving the Japanese market, with plans to expand to 5,000 employees. The goal is to position CMC Japan as one of the leading technology companies in Japan, while also maintaining and developing strategic partnerships with major global corporations. The DJ7 team, together with CMC Japan, aims to create new and distinctive values for Japanese enterprises, helping them optimize quality and increase productivity.?
