QSI: Detergent Application during Sanitation Process
?Detergent should not be applied until after an adequate first rinse has been completed. All meat scraps should be removed from the equipment, walls and floors.
?Titrate the selected detergent(s) by following the titration instructions located inside each specific chemical kit. When concentration of solution matches the desired concentration, apply foaming detergent.
?Completely cover all equipment with foam, applying bottom to top, making sure that all equipment is foamed on the inside and outside. Cover all hard to reach places, walls, floors and drains.
