The Details

The Details

Today's devotional is from What Would Jesus Ask You Today?

"Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?" - Matthew 16:10.

There is an old saying that the devil is in the details, but God is in them, too! In today's question, Jesus was asking the disciples to remember the details of how many baskets of food were left over when He multiplied the loaves and fish. God just doesn't provide enough, He provides in abundance. You can forget how well and much He has provided for you, however, and get into a panic when things seem tight.

Are you in a provision panic now? Have you forgotten God's ability to provide for you? Read Numbers 11 and see what happened to Israel when they complained about God's provision and then take time to remember the details of God's historic goodness to you.
