Desperation! Desperation! And oh! Desperation.

This time it's about my observation of people's expression, in this cost-of-living storm. I name it "DESPERATION." An' increasing phenomena. It is more powerful and destructive than the latest storm "IAN" hitting the shores of the Americas.

I have never seen people's expression looking so void of hope. It's like they are fighting with the idea of accepting their faith, realising to do so would bring on them, utter destruction. And having no power to alter this situation. Devoid of hope and confidence in those, who's promises they acted on, which lead them to this place.

Yesterday, I walked up to a worker in a supermarket [stocking shelves] and ask, "Can you direct me to the aisles where the cheaper food and clothing is displayed as promised by Boris Johnson and the Brexiteers?" And the gentleman reply, "It don't exist, in-fact prices has more than doubled." We chuckled because it was all we could do, while accepting that those Pinocchio's are now using the pandemic mask wearing to hide their long and increasing noses. When they walk pass, also look at their behinds. Because quite surely their pants are on fire. [liar, liar, pants on fire.]

Myself, I am situating myself at the bottom of the millionaire's mountain and wait for the fortune we keep piling on them to eventually trickle down to us the bottom feeders. And please don't tell me, that too is a myth.

If only I can tell those people, that desperation is self-afflicted and self-affected. The answer is within their grasped. If only they know it. Don't vote, like, support or believe these, self-important, low self-esteem, opiniated, greedy individuals, who have through time, lead you to believe, that wearing shirt and tie, tailored suit, expensive jewellery and high heels and tight dresses, that they are more special, clever and caring about anything else, but themselves. That all their plans, schemes and laws are devised by them, to constrain everyone else, while enriching them, by any means possible.

But I have concluded that I can't say these words to them, for fear, they may also conclude that I am the weird one and assist those who caused their desperation to lock me up. Because I believe, not all with eyes, see, not all with voice, speak, and not all with brains, think. Easier to follow the crowd, they call it trends [trending] in today's hip expression. We are no longer individuals. One app control thousand and millions of us.

Some of us will survive this cost-of-living storm and some won't, much like the pandemic. [we are still mourning the loss of relatives, friends and neighbours.] And all the other disasters and diseases that enthralled us, man-made or contributed to. And those with power and in a position of strength or authority, will utter advisedly wise words. They may even stand at their doorsteps or on the street and clap [you the real hero] at a given time appropriately televised. Whilst they raid the country's treasure and assets, enriching themselves, family members, friends and members of their elite groups, whilst devising plans to cut back on services already paid for by your sweat, devotion and pride in your homeland. The funny thing is that's what being going on by the same people in other countries and nations, whilst you accept and described it as "Victorious, Adventurous, Gallantry, and superior. Only now, they are doing it to you.

All I can say, in spite of all our desperation and loss of hope, home, health and our children's future, we must prepare ourselves of what coming down the line. It is said, a smile can invigorate the face and if held or does long enough the whole body. And confuses those who rejoice in your demise. So, lets follow Charlie Chaplain's advice and SMILE.
