Despair

Falling - calling - I can’t get through

My hearts hurting I can’t reach you

Pain and tears flow free

The despair is churning and tearing away

Feeling helpless

Not knowing what to say

A child who thinks that they are in love

With someone who really does not care

No respect or boundaries existing there

Praying you will see what we can see

Wake up to the reality

Instead of continuing this destructive path

Thinking your in love

With a psychopath

A magnet to misery

This is not the right way

Seeing your pain grow day by day

Love is patient

Love is kind

It’s not meant to be cruel and cause

All this stress and strain

It’s about harmony and togetherness

Again

It’s true that love is blind

I just wish I had the key

To break through and rescue you

From a potential tragedy

I hope you will wake up and move forward with your life

Attracting someone who will appreciate your wonderful qualities

Instead of continuing with this toxic cycle

Bringing you to your knees

Know that your family will always be there

Showing our support and offering our care

Don’t waste another moment tolerating this abuse

Stop being in denial

And offering an excuse

True love is a divine virtue that nurtures in winning ways

A long way - away from broken yesterday’s

Driven by a desire to do the best for you

An Angel of love and light shining through

When you feel the joy and intensity

You will know you are finally unbound and your spirit will be free

Which would be a huge relief and something I long to see xx
