Desire the Supernatural

Believers have the DNA of God (children born_again_into the family of God) & we should have an appetite for the supernatural because the Lord is a God of signs, miracles, and wonders. The supernatural is where God operates. This is a Holy Spirit-empowered life.

It is the realm, where heaven and the earth intermingle; the realm of interaction between God and man. God wants His children to live and operate from this realm. We are image-bearers of a powerful, mighty, everlasting God. We are ambassadors of Christ in the world. We are able to live in the supernatural as natural beings.

However, there is a condition; God does not work in & through people who are not fully persuaded & totally decided to do His will and serve His purposes.

                          Look at the life of Daniel.         

Daniel lived in captivity in Babylon along with his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They faced pressure to conform to Babylonian society and give up the ways of their people.

However, Daniel made up his mind & determined in his heart not to eat,?literally, “that he would not defile himself by eating his portion of the food & drinking wine given to them from the King.” (The defilement was probably in eating foods outlawed in Leviticus 11 & Deuteronomy 14:3-21).? Fast forward, they stood strong in their faith, and?God blessed Daniel?with wisdom and the supernatural ability to interpret dreams.

...but those who stay courageously loyal to their God will take a strong stand & firmly resist the enemy. Daniel 11:32(b)        

Daniel did not fear living his faith out loud in a counter-cultural society. Neither should You & I.

He boldly proclaimed & practiced his faith in the Almighty God.

Elijah, Noah, Abraham, Esther, Samuel, Abraham, Nehemiah, Paul (endless list) did the same & the results were, to say the least, miraculous.

Simply put, in order to live in the supernatural, we must pursue unwavering belief that God's Word is true, He can do what He says & He is able to do it through us. That's faith. We can cause the world to know God's power if we are totally sold out to living in holiness & purity as His Word commands us.

What a boring life it is (would be) to live below the possibilities of what God can do.
