At FOReT, our fashion creations are more than just accessories; they embody a rich narrative of collaboration, craftsmanship, and community empowerment. Behind every Banana Bark Bag lies a story of diverse roles and dedicated artisans working together to bring our vision to life. From the sourcing of raw materials to the intricate embellishments, our manufacturing process involves a multitude of tasks carried out by women artisans. With 150 Banana Twine makers, 70 individuals involved in Crochet, and 40 individuals in Tailoring and Embellishment, each bag represents a collective effort that sustains livelihoods and fosters community development.

During the launch of our collection, every team member actively participates, recognizing the substantial production requirements. For instance, crafting a Wooden Weave laptop bag requires 500 meters of twine and a 4-day effort, highlighting the intensive process involved in bringing our designs to fruition. Following the initial stages, our dedicated workshop ensures comprehensive finishing, blending design precision with artisanal craftsmanship to produce high-quality, finished products that tell a story of dedication and attention to detail.

Similarly, our Cork-based accessories production process is a testament to collaboration and innovation. Sourced from Europe, the raw material undergoes a transformation in Jaipur, where artisans craft metal embellishments according to our designs. The final assembly takes place in our studio, where skilled artisans meticulously work with cork material to create a range of items, including jewelry and wallets. In total, our accessories development involves 7 craft artisans, each contributing their expertise and creativity to produce unique fashion pieces that reflect our commitment to sustainability and style.
