  • Our statistics show that stores in their beginning stages have a higher success rate for embroidery products than for printed apparel.
  • T-shirts are more popular with minimalistic embroidery designs, while customers prefer hoodies, sweatshirts, and jackets with large or bold embroidery.
  • Printful added wrist and sleeve embroidery this year, and the timing was just right—such designs are becoming more popular in mainstream fashion.?

  • Hoodies and sweatshirts are among the most popular products for print designs, and it hasn’t changed in 2022.?
  • This year, we also saw a major shift in trends?for pants and leggings. Customers are choosing wide-leg and flared styles for daily wear.
  • Since the gaming industry is expected to grow to $1.87B by 2025, we also expanded our catalog to include the highly-demanded All-Over Print Recycled Unisex Sports Jersey.

  • Even though wall art remained the top category for home & living items in 2022, we saw that new drinkware additions quickly became a customer favorite.?
  • The drinkware category continues to grow and we’ve seen it all over social media (take the popularity of Stanley Travel Quenched on TikTok, for example), so we predict this trend won’t be going away any time soon.?

?? What’s coming for 2023

  • To follow the rapidly growing trend of loose-fitting clothing, we’re already working on adding more relaxed, oversized clothing styles early next year.?
  • Sustainable, quality products are in demand now, and while costumers are buying less, when they do, they purchase items of higher quality.?
  • This year, we started testing out unlimited color embroidery that allows us to create embroidery designs with almost no color limitations.?
  • Following the rising demand for combining techniques, we enabled back print and front embroidery combination options for multiple products. Since the launch, this technique combination has shown outstanding results.?
