All i needed was print copies of the Uber trip bills for my reimbursement submission. Isn't it simple? Open Uber page > Login > Look for receipts section. It wasn't that simple though...
Page 1 on Login >> as below : Simple Login Screen...Good to go so far...
Page 2 : upon Login >> If the #Design is GOOD, i wonder, will this page be required....just thinking...lets move on....
Page 3 >> After a little thinking( as one has to do, as one cannot locate a tab or section named : Trip Receipt), clicked on "RIDERS" as it was the closest i could relate, to be the link to where i want to go... !! voila...i see a sign of a place that is likely to carry my receipts...the catch here : Could not make out how to go to the 2nd receipt. I did 2 trips & needed the receipts for both trips...started feeling helpless; where to click & How to go to the 2nd receipt?
Page 4 : after some pondering, gave an exploratory click on the Map; only to be lead to the receipt page of this trip that was visible on the screen...Now What? What Next?????
It look a lot of thinking and floating on this page before i realized, tat small pink downward pointing arrow was the answer to my question !! Only 1 line came to mind : WHO DESIGNED THIS PAGE & THE FUNCTIONALITY?
Design succeeds when the user on the 1st attempt gets to do what was expected of her/him to do naturally and instinctively. Else, just go back to the drawing board and repeat this till one gets the result... For sure @Uber would benefit from this exercise !!
