Design Thinking - A Service
The past two articles have explicitly defined Design Thinking and now that we understand that “Design Thinking is a change of mindset and thinking differently. Here’s to understanding the process of Design Thinking. The most creative aspect of the process is Ideation.
BUT WAIT, Let us answer the following questions!!!?
Do we understand what ideation is??
What are some of the barriers we face whether at individual, team, or organisational levels?
Ideation, the third and most exciting stage in the Design Thinking process, is defined by Integration Design Foundation as a process where you generate ideas and solutions through sessions such as Sketching, Prototyping, Brainstorming, Worst Possible Idea, and many other useable techniques. In other words, it is the practice of creating, visualizing, and effectively sharing ideas with stakeholders, colleagues, and interested parties, which can be done through Design Sprints. Nonetheless, there is a need to recognise that there are certain barriers that can affect ideation, hindering innovation and creativity. This, however, is not an exhaustive list, feel free to add more so that we can explore different barriers together and find ways of overcoming them;

The Innovation team at Bongohive Consult supports organisations and corporates to solve wicked problems by leveraging Design Thinking methodologies through Design Sprints, a service offered by BongoHive Innovation Consulting.
Design Sprints
By exploring multiple possibilities and engaging in structured ideation, BongoHive Consult conducts Design Sprints with the aim of driving innovation, problem-solving, and rapid prototyping, a technique used in the design and development process to quickly create tangible representations of a product or service. Design Sprints prioritise user research and empathy, to understand the target audience's needs, preferences, and pain points. By gaining these insights, Design Sprints ensure that the solutions are tailored to meet user needs, deliver an enhanced user experience and uncover innovative solutions that address the identified problem.
