Design Thinking, Innovation & the future of thought :)#?

What are the fundamentals of design thinking, innovation and creativity? How do you create and capture ideas, generate new innovation and develop futures? What is cultural change and how do you inspire business growth, or embed culture change? Forecasting the future trends and wave function of ideas can be learned, here's where to start.

Design thinking is a discipline that uses the designer's sensibility and methods to match people's needs with what is technologically possible and what a viable business strategy can deliver.

Design thinking has taken the business world by storm in recent years, with business schools and companies recognizing how this innovative approach can revolutionize the way we approach solving problems. Design Thinking is a world-view, which enables you to understand, create and respond. It is not a linear process. Nor is it about designing the look and feel of new products or services; it’s about constantly questioning how everything works. Design Thinking sets out to develop an innovation culture, which can help us solve the problems facing businesses today and enhance their position in tomorrow’s markets. Innovation is no longer the exclusive domain of researchers and development engineers.

Innovation. Change. One word that gives meaning to so much change and innovation in this world we live in. Innovation has the same root as the word “innovation”, which is “in” and “nova”, which means new. Innovation is about creating new ideas, new methods of business and new products. And design thinking can make your innovation work better. Here are 4 reasons why you want to start integrating design thinking into your innovation process: 1) Creativity 2) Sharing 3) Unitasking 4) Storytelling

Innovation is inevitable when you mix design thinking and culture change. On a similar note, innovation is enabled by systems thinking, leadership and naturally occurring trends. What does innovation have to do with spaceships? ?Nothing! Innovation is about crafting solutions to real-world problems (that's why we invented rockets, remember?). Innovation happens when we take designs from the future back into our present; this "retro-futuring" of solutions can be applied to business and product development based on a combination of sociology, anthropology and neuroscience. Essentially, innovation is a future state that has been brought back to the present through a series of analytical observations, deliberate acts, calculated risks and pragmatic experimentation. Innovation is required when we wish to effect business growth or change within a specific culture especially within a larger organization.

What innovation could be achieved if we shifted the way we approached problems and if we stopped thinking about our work; or, even worse, ourselves...Maybe if we stopped focusing on incremental improvement and start solving bigger problems? And what if we stopped trying to normalize our work and see it as something bizarre?

Gustakhi Maaf: The article above is entirely written by AI. I just fed a few keywords, 5 to be precise, and AI wrote this article on the website copy.ai in 30 seconds. It appears to ramble a bit but is pretty stoically convincing for a newbie & highly promising capabilities of technologies for the immediate future. Imagine all that we might be reading as some wise text from the experts on Linkedin or Medium, and that might not be written by them, not even by their ghost-writers...but by just a piece of tech. Imagine the times of cognitive delirium ahead when we might be entering where we can't separate the unreal from the real.

But at the same time, in the hands of a few able creators, this tech would enhance their skills multifold by generating options. So one can also expect a better quality of copy, stories, books, memes, movies, comedy etc.

Am I writing this text, yes? Probably me :).

Honestly, as I started reading, I felt a bit disconnected. There wasn't any style, not yours for sure. But knowing that's its an AI copy, not bad at all to get started (knowing that AI does not write anything original as such, it just assembles from whats out there), powerful tech indeed. And as you rightly said, in the hands of able creators, this tech would enhance their skills multifold. Thanks for sharing Manoj
