Design Reviewed - September 2024 Update

The latest update from Design Reviewed?

Behind the scenes, I’ve been busy scanning numerous designer portraits and setting up new artifact and archive pages. Various pages now include portraits, bios, and related articles for each designer. This time-consuming task is a labour of love that will further enhance the Design Reviewed resource, moving me closer to my mission of making this online archive an essential research tool.

I'm also thrilled to announce the arrival of Letterform Archives: The Complete Commercial Artist: Making Modern Design in Japan, 1928–1930 . This exciting addition inspired me to begin collecting all 24 volumes. So far, I have six in my collection , with another 15 set to arrive next week.

In addition, I've added more issues of Printing Review magazine, a few Dutch stamps, and 11 more issues of the Japanese publication Graphic Design .

I’ve also published two new member-exclusive articles focused on Dutch design:

Lastly, following some inquiries about workshops, I’ve updated the archive's information on both physical and digital offerings. You can find all the details here

As always, a huge thank you to all my subscribers, followers, and friends for your unwavering support!
