Design Reviewed - June 2024 Update

I have finished uploading all 70 issues I have collected of Graphic Design (Japan) to the online archive, with details on their cover designs and contents (a few more back issues on order too). I also uploaded two full years of covers from the German publication Der Druckspiegel.

I have continued to scan both covers and inners from my magazine collection, and recently, I wrote two small articles about the work of Franco Grignani. I have limited work by Grignani in my archive, but I am always fascinated by his artistic ability as a graphic designer and painter.

With that in mind, below is a sample of his work and articles from my website.

On another note, this month I will bring one hundred items from the archive for a curated talk for TypoCircle at St. Bride’s, London, as part of their fantastic events. It brings me great pleasure to be selected to speak at one of these lectures, and I can’t wait to talk about my archive and passion for graphic design history.

As always, I extend a heartfelt thank you to all my subscribers, followers, and friends for your unwavering support.
