The construction landscape continues to evolve, and off-site construction methods are taking center stage. The Offsite Project of the Year category at the Construction Technology Awards celebrates projects that demonstrate exemplary planning and execution of offsite construction methods. Whether it's volumetric modules, panelised systems, bathroom pods, MEP modules, or large and complex precast projects — this category showcases innovation at its finest. Check out the key elements that could help you win the Offsite Project of the Year award.
Key Considerations for Offsite Project of the Year 2025:
1. Understand the Criteria:
To stand out in the Offsite Project of the Year category, your project should showcase how offsite construction methods were planned and executed. The project must be finished or at the end of a big phase within the last 24 months. Highlight gains in time, efficiency, safety, quality, waste or greenhouse gas management, and cost.
2. Identifying Main Project Stakeholders:
Emphasise and acknowledge the roles played by contractors, consultants, developers, and owners. Offsite excellence is a collaborative effort, and recognising the contributions of each stakeholder is key.
3. Tangible Benefits to the Project:
Provide detailed insights into the tangible benefits your offsite construction methods brought to the project. Whether it's time savings, enhanced safety measures, improved efficiency, better waste management, or cost-effectiveness — each benefit should be supported by evidence.
