It is a system design of processes and principles within a structure or build-in structure for managing and preventing disputes.
This design intiative will become the trend of the future for corporate to taking the litigation-avoidance process and approach as litigation is costly, ineffective, slow , unproductive and anti-business.
It is a design initiative basically on " How conflict management can be enhanced to prevent and manage disputes. "
4 Basic steps are involved in the system . (1) Take design initiative ; (2) assess or diagnose current situation: (3) create the processes or principles ; (4) implement design.
The basic competency skills involved are Conflict resolution competency, listening skill, imagination, dialogue skills, imagination and facilitation skills.
There is no need to start from scratch for the system design . We learn from the past using actual stories ; latest research or theories; empirical evidence and our life experiences.
How we can create win-win situations in handling and managing conflicts , which are unavoidable and transform them into nutrient for growth , just like our body that is looking for equilibrium for a healthy person. So conflicts are not deadly. They can be positive it can be turned around for healthy growth like changing poison into medicine.
