Francis Hartland, Design for a device for moving houses, 1833 from the RIBA Drawings Collection.
This image features in the current RIBA Architecture Gallery exhibition Pablo Bronstein: Conservatism, or The Long Reign of Pseudo-Georgian Architecture. The exhibition at 66 Portland Place closes on 11 February so next week is the final week and the last chance to see it.
Today I was delighted to award Pablo Bronstein with an RIBA Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his long standing interest in architecture as a source of inspiration for his work and for his collaboration with RIBA on the current exhibition.
