The March Trend Roundup: Kitchen & Bath
On the heels of KBIS, we’re brimming with insights into all the hottest trends in kitchen and bath. Here are our top 5 K&B trends to look forward to in the coming year:?
METALLIC SHINE
If you follow social media trends, you’ll know that Pinterest called it earlier this year: Hot metals are all the rage for 2024. We saw metallic finishes and mixed metals across the KBIS show floor. One of our favorite examples of this is the new Champagne colorway from True Residential.
LIKE A RAINBOW
You’ve heard of dopamine decor and it’s officially taking hold in the world of kitchen and bath. Move over traditional white-washed kitchens, hello COLOR! Whether it’s integrating colorful appliances or fixtures, tiles and backsplashes, serveware and linens, or a bit of everything, choose your favorite hues and unleash your inner rainbow.
MOODY BLUES
ICYMI, shades of blue have taken over the kitchen in 2024. This moody blue trend applies not only to cabinetry, but also to appliances, backsplashes, and more, with hues ranging the complete scale from baby blue to navy.
BRINGING THE OUTSIDE IN
Having to choose between being indoors or outdoors is a thing of the past. It’s time to bring the outdoors in. This trend appears in the bathroom with larger windows, integrating access to outdoor showers or peaceful atriums, and embracing biophilia with plants and natural materials. In the kitchen, the line between indoor and out is even more blurred, as we’re seeing more spaces that open up to eliminate the transition between indoor and outdoor cooking and dining spaces.
SPA-LIKE BATHROOMS
Homeowners are reimagining traditional bathrooms by investing in special amenities to promote wellness and relaxation in the bathroom. The bathroom trends that encourage relaxation, indulgence, and self-care are giving us life!

In addition to these trends, we’d be remiss not to mention one of the hottest topics at KBIS this year: Induction!?
There are so many benefits to cooking with induction:
Novità Does What?: Trade Shows
Industry trade shows are close to our heart at Novità and have long been a part of our strategy to help our clients shine and thrive. Our robust trade show experience comes from representing both the shows themselves, and their exhibitors, so we know how to maximize the opportunities of these large expenditure events. We are currently on the board of advisors for NYCxDESIGN and are the PR team of record for NYCxDESIGN, Salone del Mobile (North America), NeoCon, CERSAIE, and the The Architecture & Design Film Festival. We have also worked extensively with ICFF, BDNY, Hospitality Design, WantedDesign, Design Miami/Art Basel, La Biennale di Venezia, 100% Design, GreenBuild, IDS, AIA Convention, Maison & Objet, Coverings, Global Shop, WestEdge, and many others.
Our work in the trade show space is expansive. In addition to traditional media relations and digital marketing efforts, we develop strategies to maximize ROI; support with event production, as well as the production of key exhibits and special projects; leverage thought leadership opportunities through show participation; organize and manage press events and viewings; lead tours; and collaborate with show organizers to maximize pre-show support.?

The Value of Trade Shows
“Many ponder the value of trade shows - are they worth attending, even if not exhibiting with a booth? I recently attended my twenty-something Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. Another year of amazing innovations from the best of the best! Nothing is better than an 'in real life' connection you make at a trade show. I’m not only able to connect with dear industry friends and former colleagues, I also get to make new connections with new brands and people.?
How do you measure the ROI? First and foremost, you get to learn about new products, and innovations while getting a pulse on the industry. New connections and reconnections provide an opportunity for potential new projects and collaborations with new brands. Ultimately it is about making and maintaining relationships. That is truly the gift that trade shows give us”
