Yes, there was a time where I had to solve a problem without having any necessary information regarding it. But I did not step back from solving the problem, and solved it by using some of the methods and techniques which I will share with you:

Do not feel tensed or afraid of the problem when you do not know information regarding it, we know that it is a human tendency to feel afraid of things which we don’t know or not understand. It is just a psychological feeling; you need to come out of it. Understand that it is just an untouched blocker in your path to achieving your goal.

First, try to do some research and gather information on your own. Use resources and technology around you. If possible, do some brainstorming about that topic with your fellow mates. We are living in a world where any information can be shared through the internet, use that, and be familiar with your problem.

Now, use that information for your advantage and raise above your problem, solve that problem as if it’s a piece of cake to cut through.

Most of the time should be spent on research and planning to solve the problem as it opens the doors of many possibilities to solve the problem.

Coming to myself, I (Monesh Venkul) had a situation of creating a webpage for a client who is living on another side of the world and he made to use my own imagination and tools to solve his business problem of getting more views to his company branding. He did not provide me with any sort of information or Knowledge-Transfer(KT) regarding it and gave me a deadline of one month.

I did my research on the company through various blogs and made interaction with the company employees through LinkedIn and gathered as much information as I could. I invested most of my time in gathering information regarding the company and necessary tools along with technical knowledge on building the necessary website.

I faced many hurdles along the way, but nothing has made me step back. I had tried and failed throughout the development of the webpage by many errors but I have not given up and solved the errors till the last one. And at last, I developed the webpage which the client needed and right to the companies branding. I passed the product to him and he asked me to wait for a few days as it is under the process of testing and optimization.

I did not bother about client response and appreciated myself because of not stepping back from my goal of delivering the product. Now, I have solved that problem and any problem which is similar to the previous problem would not be a problem at all because I have already solved it.

Conclusion:

Think Big, there is a solution for every problem and you yourself need to find the right information and tools to solve that problem.
