The Department of Citizenship and Immigration has announced a biennial increase in permanent residence fees, following the Financial Administration Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Effective 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern daylight time on April 30, 2024, these fee adjustments are based on the cumulative percentage increase to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Canada over the past two years, as published by Statistics Canada.
