Departing the Chamber I am grateful and honored

Tuesday I announced my departure from the Chamber on November 30th as I will be taking on a new role with Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) focusing on commercial & business development. I sit brimming with nostalgia, gratitude, and optimism, while being grateful and honored to have been part of such an innovative team at the Chamber.

Looking back over the last 4 ? years of my time at the Chamber I sit back and think of the work you empowered us to accomplish. We challenged local processes, sought solutions to problems, and worked to tell the story that is the experience of Murray KY. All of these were to build up each other, and our community.

I want to sincerely thank every single Chamber member for your contributions both large and small to these community efforts. These efforts have required an impressive display of grit, teamwork, and resilience. Working with our team, board, and members have made my time as President/CEO nothing short of a privilege.

To our Chamber members: You empowered our team to be innovative and push for business friendliness, connect and inform our community leaders and elected officials on issues impacting you, all while creating innovative programs that retain young professionals and highlight our local businesses.

To our community: My family made Murray our home in 2001. My Mom, Dad, Brother, and Grandmother. Our community’s quality of life brought us here and it keeps us here today. Thank you for allowing me to be a champion for Murray & Calloway County.

To my co-workers and team: Thank you for making us into a family. Your passion, energy, and friendship are infectious - thank you for pulling me along with you.

I look forward to helping Murray & Calloway County continue to grow and be successful in both economic and community development.
