Denatured
As we grow up we may not understand that an action changes a person; indeed, it may not be very clear to us for a long time that this is so: that just as the man who digs the ground changes it, so he grows tired in the course of his work, so what we do generally has an effect on others as well as changing us. Similarly, we may not have been very conscious of our ideas about love, being formed as we grew up by experiences that we may not have thought through; and, in a way, we may be passing through life as if we are on a bus or a tube: not really aware of the reality of our relationships with people. We might have tried psychological help, books and indeed conversations – but there was a deeper truth to discover, namely, that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Thus “Denatured” looks at the many changes that we may go through, many of which are unfitting us for life and marriage; and, therefore, that there comes a point when God meets us where we are, loves us as we are and takes us where we cannot go without Him.

of a brilliantly beautiful,
sparklingly fresh,
undying love.

dazzling
look-a-like-loves,
play like mirages upon the pained senses,
as a turn through the streets raises the question:
to go in or to walk away?

4 年Francis, great core truth here. While mankind murdered the incarnation of God in Jesus Christ, we still have the Holy Spirit to bring light into the world. But the onus is on us to translate this spirit into the world, which relies upon us having the courage to promote the truth. Sort of like taking the pure energy of God, and applying it in the materialistic context of our existence. We are in a period where the Word has been delivered, and depends upon human beings to "put it to use." To me, the most important message Jesus delivered is that He was the only and true God. The next important message was to love others as we love ourselves. This priority often gets confused, by both Christians, and enemies of Christ (incarnations of Satan in human beings.) As we approach the impending relevance of the Book of Revelation, we must have our priorities in order, and also be cognizant of the wolves in sheep's clothing in church organizations. Ultimately, we each need to stop looking around at others, and resolve the spiritual war inside our own heads. We must use our free will, and choose, committing to the various truths Christ brought us, knowing the price He was going to pay to do so.
