Demystifying ProductOps: Meetup by ProductTank Kathmandu

In Today's Workshop by Elissa Hill I learned how ProductOps comes into picture and adds value to a product by enabling Product Managers do their work efficiently.

1. ProducOps Managers focuses on Business Data & Insights, Customer & Market Insights, Process & Practices.
2. While a Product Manager solely focuses on a product and looks after its improvement, a ProductOps Manager gathers business data, customer insight from relevant products and provides research data for a Product Manager.
3. ProductOps Manager takes ownership of doing research on a subject which shouldn't always be about that specific product but the experimentation can help their product to take a new leap.
4. ProductOps are data based, research based creative thinkers and Problem Solvers are Outcome-driven, Efficiency-focused or Customer-centric

Product Ops Manager is that role which enables Product Managers to focus on the #productincrement.

Those were the new things I learnt today. Organizations who are growing, managing large scale products are looking for Product Ops Manager.
