Demonetisation !! What Real Estate Brokers should do ?

There is a lot of confusion and chaos all around. Real estate industry is the most affected after this policy. What a Real Estate Broker should do in this situation ?
- Its a temporary phase. So keep calm and wait for 2-3 months.
Its a temporary pause which will last around 2-3 months. No need to panic as in the long run , the industry is going to be much better and bigger. Presently we can see a dip in the deals , even the ongoing deals are being re-negotiated. But finally things will be much better !!
2. Keep in touch with your investors/customers.
Investors and clients are a confused lot these days. Keep in touch with your clients and try to clarify their doubts. As we know that things will improve for the betterment after 2-3 months , we should not lose sight of our investors and clients who will finally deal through us only.
3. Educate your investors/clients.
This is the most important part. We should educate our investors/clients and should be able to answer all their queries. Removing the cash from the secondary market has a negative impact on the marker , but in the long run we can see lot of deals happening as prices will come down ( almost 30% ) and will find more buyers in the secondary market. Primary market will be least affected ( may have some correction ). Banks will be flooded with money and they will start lending to the real estate industry in a big way. Even loans will be possible for plots , agriculture land etc.
4. Dont think of short term gains.
Your investors/clients may request you for adjustment of their cash or may ask you too get them deals where they can utilise their cash. A big NO to such deals as finally such deals will not happen and you may find yourself in uncomfortable situations.
5. Get organised and Legal.
Cash deals are past now !! So be ready for more white deals. Its better as deals will become transparent and clients will be more comfortable. Be ready for more business !!

8 年Thanks for such valuable inputs. Post 2015 there has been a slight issue on realty sector here and there with unwanted rumors adding upto creating chaos. Your insight has given me and many such professionals an insight as to jow one should go about into this further on. Thanks once again.
