Voicemod, the industry leader in audio self-expression tools for digital identities, has just released Voicemod Text-to-Song, the world’s very first generative AI text-to-song tool that enables user to express themselves through musical short-form songs (“memes”).

A dream since teenage years, everyone can now become a songwriter and express their emotions through lyrics and create a song.

This new addition to the Voicemod ecosystem allows users to create their own songs leveraging Voicemod’s unique AI Singer Voices and share them on social media and communications platforms.

User can select one of several instrumental songs, pick their favorite singer voice and enter the lyrics, the tool will do the rest and generate the full song with vocals. After this first release Voicemod will add more music options and voices to select from, as well as enabling users to add instrumentals and melodies, or use more generative AItools to create their own music.

This product has been enabled by the recent acquisition of Voctro Labs, an audio R&D developer who participated on the development of the first virtual singer, Hatsune Miku, and provided as well the technology behind Holly+, the AI clone voice of Holly Herndon, which was used to create the first AI voice song on Spotify and featured in Herndon’s highly revered TED Talk (mentioned min 5:30+) “What if you could sing your favorite musician’s voice?”

This new synthetic singing product is the latest release that once again positions the company as a leader in AI audio technology, with millions of gamers and creators already using Voicemod’s desktop app as their go-to tool for audio self-expression and their digital voice identity. Voicemod only recently introduced its real-time AI voices and within less than two months more than 3 million users elevated their self-expression and voice identity online. Since then, the company has been moving full speed ahead, building and improving upon its industry-leading voice skins and self-expression tools to make it easy for anyone to create, customize, and own how they sound online.

The First-Ever AI Song Generator

With global interest in AI technology rapidly increasing, Voicemod’s launch of the world’s first AI song generator is no small feat. Voicemod Text-to-Song is the company’s first cross-device product, available for free via web browser from any device. Once users access Voicemod Text-to-Song from their web browser, they will be prompted to choose from seven different singers and 10 instrumental tracks. After selecting their singer and music, they will be able to type any lyrics they want to create their own song. They can then share it on social media or communication platforms with friends and family.

This is just the beginning, although the first version of this tool is focused on the creation of Christmas carols, Voicemod Text To Song will launch new singers, musical styles and editing functionalities in early 2023, as well as allowing users to bring and create their own music, as well as train more singing voices.

Voicemod is also talking with artists to leverage this new technology like Holly Herndon for more engagement with their fans, more creation and participate in the value creation of the generative AI space.
