Democrat Failed Homeownership Policies Caused Home Prices To Skyrocket Ending The Promise of The American Dream For Many Hardworking American

WE MUST ELECT PRESIDENT TRUMP TO A 2ND TERM! THE PROMISE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM IS ON THE LINE IN THIS ELECTION! As a Black Immigrant from the Caribbean who walked away from the Democrat Party many years ago because I felt the Democrat Party was not interested in protecting the American Dream for the next generation, I want the American people to know that THE PROMISE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM IS ON THE LINE IN THIS ELECTION!
According to a 2024 report from the National Association of Home Builders, 19.1% of young adults aged 25–34 live with their parents and in-laws.?A 2024 report from CNBC states that 31% of Gen Z adults are living with their parents because they can't afford to buy or rent their own space.
My story about why I had to walk away from the Democrat Party. As a black immigrant from the Caribbean whose family came to this country with the shirts on our backs, I am happy to say I have had the opportunity to live the American Dream, but when I look at the state of our country today and ask myself; If my parents came to the country today would I have the opportunity to live the American Dream? I am sad to say that because of the answer to that question,
The greatest transfer of real estate wealth?in the history of our country started by?housing policies under the Obama/Biden Administration and?by?the Biden/Harris?Administration. Funding was directed away from affordable homeownership under failed Democrat housing policies. The failed Democrat housing policies resulted?in record?housing costs for?low and moderate-income hardworking American families who historically supported Democrats. Homeownership is out of reach for many hardworking American Families today, because Democrats based housing policies on political calculation that directed funding to change zoning laws?to benefit wealthy multi-family apartment landlords building high rental units in the suburbs?as the Democrat Party focused on turning Republican Congressional Districts in the suburbs blue to maintain control of Congress. Young Americans and minority voters in metropolitan areas most likely to support Democrats have suffered the most under the failed Democrat?housing policies.
Affordable homeownership?funding is at record lows while the Biden/Harris Administration directs?$10 billion to benefit wealthy high-price?multi-family apartment landlords. I never really imagined this day would come in my lifetime this is why I am so saddened about the state of our country today. For far too many Americans The Promise of The American Dream no longer exists. It was The Promise of The American Dream that caused my family to move to this country over five decades ago. It was the fuel that motivated many generations to come to the shores of this country and help build the greatest country in the world. This election is about restoring the promise of the American Dream for the next generation.
Single-family home?demand drastically increased while single-family home inventory decreased in 2023 by?45% from 1995. The Biden/Harris Administration solution to the 45% decrease in single-family home inventory is a 1% increase of 100,000 units over three years. This would leave?the single-family home inventory level today at 44% below the single-family home inventory level in 1995.
Single-family home inventory was reported at 870,000 units in 2023, which was only 55% of?single-family home inventory nationwide of 1.58 million units in 1995.?Building on the actions the Administration announced last September to build and rehabilitate 100,000 homes over the next three years, these legislative proposals and the new administrative steps being launched – in partnership with state, local, for-profit, and non-profit partners – can put the economy on a path to closing the housing supply gap in the next five years. (May 16, 2022)For the past two decades, I have worked to help create economic opportunity that would benefit working American families. I started this journey because I felt the Democrat Party had abandoned hard-working American Families as the Democrat Party became beholden to lobbies making campaign contributions on behalf of Corporate America.
The Biden/Harris Administration housing policy is a complete failure that has resulted in the "United States real estate wealth to wealthy corporate landlords and destroyed the opportunity of achieving The American Dream of homeownership for many hardworking American families. We must restore the Promise of the American Dream for the next generation by electing President Trump as President of the United States.
Long before President Trump decided to run for President of The United States, I voiced my concerns about the direction of the Democrat Party as a member of the party. This is what I said; "We have to restore the promise of the American dream,' Walters said from the steps of the Tuscaloosa County courthouse. 'This is the first time in our country we are in a position where we could leave the country worse off for the next generation, and this has to be reversed." (Tuscaloosa Newspaper)
Eddison Walters Tuscaloosa Newspaper April 19th, 2006: “What we as Democrats need is a message, a message that reaches out to middle-income America," he said. “I have been really unhappy with the Democratic Party for a long time and the question I had to ask myself is, 'Do I walk away from the Democratic Party like so many other middle income Americans have done, or do I stand and fight to change the party?’
“I decided to stand and fight for a party that goes back to its roots and caters to the average American and not corporate America."
In 2009 as a member of the Democrat Party, I laid out an agenda that I taught would boost the economy and benefit all Americans including Black America.
Eddison Walters Tuscaloosa Newspaper August 4th, 2009: Calling for tax cuts and energy independence, Eddison Walters on Monday formally announced his candidacy to replace U.S. Rep. Artur Davis in Congress.
'We have to restore the promise of the American dream,' Walters said from the steps of the Tuscaloosa County courthouse. 'This is the first time in our country we are in a position where we could leave the country worse off for the next generation, and this has to be reversed.''We have record level unemployment, small businesses are falling by the wayside every day, we are facing deficits as far as the eye can see and a national debt that is ballooning out of control,' he said. 'We don't have a national energy policy and we are shipping our jobs to India and China and we are sending our country's wealth to the Middle East.'In making his announcement, Walters, a broker for the mortgage company Nations Funding, cited the poor economy and called for tax cuts and heavier use of domestic coal, oil and natural gas.
Walters said he wants to protect existing small businesses in the 7th District and increase their number with the use of targeted tax cuts.
'When you look across the 7th Congressional District, small businesses are the lifeblood that keeps the 7th District going,' he said. 'But small businesses are falling by the wayside because we don't have access to capital and the way to get more capital is to reduce taxes on businesses and business owners, who are the only ones who can create new jobs.'
'I do support renewable energy, but the truth of the matter is renewable energy will never supply the majority of our energy needs,' he said. 'The real solution to the energy crisis is to increase our oil refining capacity, build new refineries and use the abundant coal and natural gas that we have in this country.
'We have an unlimited supply of coal and natural gas in this country and we ought to invest in the technology so we can put this to work and we can be energy independent.'
