Democracy and Communism - what is the difference?

The nation of Canada is a democracy with a Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.?

And up until PM Justin Trudeau and his response to Covid, I believe we all believed in our freedoms and our nation.?

What is the difference between Democratic and Communist societies??

Democracy is a form of government that gives all eligible citizens an equal say in decisions that affect their lives. Democratic societies are based on individual rights, these rights are paramount, the right to speak & be heard, the right to choose & the right to mobility.

Communism is a socialist movement that aims to create a society without class or money.

Decisions are made by the collective or authority in communist societies.?

Trudeau with Covid has shifted our nation towards what to many would say seems like communism. He in fact said this in 2013 “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China. Our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has been suspended for now over two years and he continues to hold the nation under his authoritarian rule when almost every country in the world has or is moving back to normalcy.?

When people demanded their rights under the charter, they were told the rights of the collective override the rights of the individual.? Does that sound democratic or communist??

There are no rights if the individual has no rights, that is communism!

What is communism? The poster boy for communism is Joseph Stalin.

I know the stories of communism from my mother who risked her life to stand up against communism.?

My mother lived under the rule of Stalin in Hungary from 1938 until she escaped in the 1957 Hungarian Revolution where she was part of the university student uprising.??

Trudeau has recently said this of the unvaccinated “They are extremists who don’t believe in science, they’re often misogynists, also often racists,” said Trudeau. “It’s a small group that muscles in, and we have to make a choice in terms of leaders, in terms of the country. Do we tolerate these people?”

What?? How is this hate speech allowed?

What Trudeau did with the Trucker’s protest was not what a democratic leader would have done and what he did after they were removed would have made even Stalin proud.?

He chased them with the special powers that his party and the NDP gave him, to the four corners of Canada and financially obliterated them.?

This was done to set an example for anyone who dare oppose him, and the legacy media instead of holding him accountable helped in the destroying of the protestors.? They provided the information and the cover he needed with the public.?

State-funded media has no place in a democracy. The media needs to be free to hold power accountable, not further the agenda of an authoritarian government.?

Canada is a democracy.

What can you do??

Call, email, and write a letter to your MP, MLA and ask your friends to do as well.?

Write letters to Ombudsmans, judges, Premiers, the Governor-General, police departments,? heck anyone that you can find an address for.? The key is phone calls, and actual letters. Mark them confidential, heck even register them.?

I am writing today to ask that my rights guaranteed under Charter of Rights and Freedoms be returned to me and all Canadians immediately.??

The suspension of our democratic society can not be held hostage to a state of emergency for extended periods that provide excessive powers that can lead to excessive abuse and marginalization of the population due to the government's myopic focus.?

I also request that all funding be stopped to media, as there is no place in a democratic society for state-funded media that does not hold power accountable.?The media needs to be free to do its function without influence from the government.

I ask that the justice system review this abuse of power over the past two years and would also request that a financial review be performed on all government officials and bureaucrats that have exercised restrictions, lockdowns, and forced terminations on employees.? Anyone promoting the vaccine as mandatory should also have their financial situation reviewed.?

Democracy must be restored for this nation to heal.?

Communism is a failed ideology that has led to tragedy for many a population. Soviet Union, Russia, China, North Korea, and on and on.

We must make democracies better, not shift them towards communism. A free press without bias is the check and balance that is required.
