Demi Decade Experience- Recruitment

Demi Decade Experience- Recruitment

In the next two weeks, I will be completing 5 years of experience in recruitment. So what makes it different from other jobs that we usually see in the market?

Well,? back then in 2018 when I started my journey frankly speaking I had no idea that there is something called a "Talent Acquisition" team in any organization. I was a mechanical engineer and had passed my degree with distinction and was even coming from a background where everyone in my family was involved in doing something for the railway. I somehow managed to get into the family of Wenger and Watson as an intern and actually thanks to them that they had seen potential in me (others were more inclined towards my MTI issues) Also, after a rigid start in my internship finally able to hold my journey with a great team and a manager who really taught me by holding my hand. From then this whole cycle of the journey as a Recruiter started. After Wenger, I had an amazing journey with Blackbuck. I solely relate to the fact that Wenger taught me what is recruitment and Blackbuck taught me how to get the flow aggressive based on the situation and how to be more fragile and stand with the organization when there is a need.

In these whole aspects, I learned two most important aspects:

  • Be naive when it comes to learning the scenarios
  • Never blame any organization that literally has invested so much time and resources in you to grow in your carrier.

Last but not least, what makes Recruitment so important in today’s scenarios:

  • Allows companies to hire individuals who value the same principles: When companies have a strong recruitment process, it helps HR professionals determine whether candidates value the same principles and workplace culture that the company provides. For example, by looking for and engaging with candidates who value a competitive atmosphere, HR professionals can hire and onboard professionals who thrive in their workplace. This also helps positively impact employee retention and job satisfaction.
  • Connects companies with professionals for future job openings: Even if a company selects a different candidate, the HR team can stay connected to other qualified candidates who didn't receive positions. This includes keeping candidate files and performing outreach activities to previous candidates.
  • Ensures that companies hire individuals who can help grow their business: When recruiters search for candidates, they use recruitment resources to connect with candidates who hold the skills and qualities that could contribute to new business initiatives or goals. For example, recruiters assemble a pool of candidates for an IT branch within the company.

Happy Recruiting!!
