June 8, 2016 Page 8 DAMAGES Based on the above facts, you engaged in unfair and/or deceptive practices in violation of G.L. c. 93A. Sandra Wyllie need only establish that your conduct was in violation of one of the many standards noted to prevail on her claim.
As a result of your actions, Sandra Wyllie was damaged as follows:
1. Sandra Wyllie and her family have suffered extreme emotional distress;
2. Sandra Wyllie became suicidal as a result of your inappropriate relationship with her. Her son heard her constantly scream on the phone to you. Her son saw her come home the night you pushed her around, at which time she was crying and shaking.
3. The relationship you initiated with Sandra Wyllie has destroyed her marriage, and Sandra Wyllie has turned to alcohol, over the distress you caused her.
4. Sandra Wyllie felt used paying you for therapy when you were using her sessions to talk about your own issues. You appropriated her therapy time with her other psychologists, going to her sessions, and talking about your problems.
5. Sandra Wyllie has been forced to expend monies for attorney fees to effectuate a fair settlement of her damages
6. If your response to this demand letter should be found by a court to not be reasonable, based on all of the facts which a proper investigation conducted at this time would reveal, Sandra Wyllie after trial will be entitled to attorney fees, as authorized by Chapter 93A; 7. If your claim settlement practices or your response to this demand letter should later be found by a court to not be reasonable, based on all of the facts which a proper investigation conducted at this time would reveal, Sandra Wyllie will be entitled to double or treble the damages to which it is otherwise lawfully entitled, as authorized by Chapters 93A and 176D;??
By this letter, Sandra Wyllie demands: 1. The payment of $100,000.00; 2. Interest at the statutory rate of 12% from the date of your breach, on 1/1/2014
