Over the past few years, the major focus was on delectable and indulgent food and snacking options that were not safe and??healthy in the long run. With a alarming rise in the number of of heart related issues, diabetes, obesity and COVID-19, consumers have become aware due to which there has been a positive change in the consumers behaviour as they have started making conscious decisions benefiting their overall health and well-being.

With the availability of the internet and access to information, consumer have become conscious about what they are feeding their body. Due to this, slowly and steadily there has been a change in the snacking trends as more and more people are moving away from fried and fatty foods / snacks and are opting for healthy options like high-protein, superfoods infused, sugar free, gluten free, vegan based snacking options.?
