Demand Response

Demand response is a new mechanism for the electricity market. This mechanism was introduced by the Clean Energy for All Europeans Package in 2019. But for the transmission system operators it is not the a new conception. Until now transmission system operator has been cutting the energy to the some areas when the grid system needs it. Especially in the peak times. But now this cutting will be based on a market conditions. The consumers will get some incentives for the reduction of their usage in certain time. Even there will be aggregation companies that will aggragate the consumption of the consumers and sell them based on the market rules.
