Demand Research
Gavin McWhirter
Leading teams of business specialists to provide help, advice and support to owners of independent businesses across Southern England
The objective of Demand Research is to accelerate the success of companies targeting new market opportunities. This is a particularly useful form of market research for earlier stage companies looking to gain clear and actionable insights into the market opportunity, resulting in a clear evaluation of the potential customers and ideally a methodology for reaching those customers. It should provide a blueprint for successful market entry, along with details of early customer targets and their willingness to invest in your product or service.
Outputs of a demand research project should include the following:
· Robust evaluation and analysis of the target sector in the agreed market
· Identification of target customers
· Identification of key contacts and decision makers in these companies
· An assessment of the level of product / service interest, through targeted interviews, with a sample of contacts identified
· Testing of value proposition, if appropriate.
