Delving into the Genesis: The Foundations of "The Planet Fortht: Enslaving Freedom"

Greetings, fellow adventurers! As the saga of "The Planet Fortht: Enslaving Freedom" unfolds, I find it fitting to look back at the roots of this epic tale.

Flashback to a Decade Ago

Rewind to a time when debating people on social media was cool. I found myself engrossed in numerous discussions with friends, colleagues and random connections about the virtues of a free society and the limitless potential of unrestricted open source technology. What began as constructive debates morphed into vociferous confrontations. However, it was amidst this cacophony that the idea of turning these passionate debates into a novel sprouted in my mind.

Crafting a Libertarian Utopia

Fast forward over a decade, and the novel is nearly there. But how do you build an entirely libertarian society without compromising the fundamental frameworks that keep society functional? That question is what "Enslaving Freedom" sets out to answer.

The Perfectly Imperfect World of The Planet Fortht

The initial feedback from beta readers suggested that the society I created was too utopian. In response, I infused the story with a blend of human imperfections to bring it closer to our reality, making the narrative as engaging as it is thought-provoking.

An Ideological Odyssey

In "The Planet Fortht: Enslaving Freedom," our protagonist, Robert, embarks on a voyage to Mars. However, he finds himself stranded and is subsequently rescued by an alien race, leading him to the Earth-like world of Fortht. Through Robert's lens, the narrative explores the intricate interplay between freedom, society, and the idiosyncrasies that make us human. This is not merely a speculative tale about life on another planet; it's an ideological playground that invites readers to grapple with the complexities and opportunities inherent in a truly free society.

A Work in Progress

The fourth draft is currently in the works, molded by the invaluable feedback from beta readers.

I don't like logging anywhere 'with Google', so I'm putting my votes for a cover out here: I like #2 and #9 best.
