Delta Design Update — December 2022

Throughout December, the Aptera team has been hard at work in our final development phase. As we approach the end of the year, we are excited to reveal a digital visualization of Delta, our production-intent design. For the first time, will be showing our community the union of the continuous improvements we made throughout our Alpha, Beta, and Gamma phases.

In the meantime, we hope you’ve enjoyed the teases we’ve dropped on our social media channels over the last couple of weeks.

The team anticipates that our community will have many questions about our Delta design and what it means for all future Aptera owners. We look forward to providing you with answers during an upcoming virtual webinar with our founders in January. Look out for an announcement with the date and time soon!

Currently, our design team is placing the final touches on Delta, and efforts to meet our funding objectives are ongoing. Once we reach our goal, we will begin systems integration and Delta builds, with distinct types for crash testing and validation. The engineering team is gearing up to perform and publish real-world data on our vehicle efficiency, range, solar output, and more using these Delta builds. We anticipate sharing our final performance numbers with our community when the time comes.

As part of our Delta phase of development, our team has been in close collaboration with CPC Group to finalize the body structures of Aptera. Not only does this crucial agreement expedite our path toward volume production, but also gives us the chance to work alongside an iconic industry leader to bring solar mobility to the masses.

Once the crash testing and validation stages are complete, we will showcase our Launch Edition vehicles. 2023 will be a year of continued progress and we can’t wait to take you with us through it all.

Aptera’s crowdfunding campaign is just one of our pathways to meeting our fundraising goals.?We’re also working to raise institutional capital through a Series B raise up to $200 million. Our third pathway to raise funds is through government programs, like grants and loans. This strategy is well underway, and we should be seeing the fruits of our labor soon.
