DELTA AIR LINES & LOS ANGELES LAKERS DONATE MURAL DESIGNED BY LAKERS FORWARD BRANDON INGRAM, ICONIC STREET ARTIST JONAS NEVER AND 150 FANS

LOS ANGELES – After recently teaming up to create a one-of-a-kind billboard as part of Delta Air Lines’ “Beyond the Court” program, Los Angeles Lakers forward and aspiring artist Brandon Ingram and acclaimed street artist Jonas Never came together again to donate the 8’x22’’ mural to Covenant House California, a local youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked young people. The inspirational mural, encouraging youth to ‘Never Stop Dreaming,’ will be displayed next to a renovated basketball court and youth lounge space, which Delta and the Lakers will unveil at the time of donation. The renovated court and lounge space were donated by the Lakers Youth Foundation and Delta. In March, Delta brought Ingram and Never together, along with 150 passionate Lakers fans, to create this Lakers-inspired billboard. Following the collaborative design process, the 8’x22’ billboard was displayed alongside the iconic Venice Boardwalk for all Angelenos to walk by and see. Throughout the 2016-17 season, Delta’s “Beyond the Court” program celebrated the passion of Lakers players on and off the court, giving them an opportunity to connect with and learn from a mentor and fans in a deeper way. Delta’s program brought together LA’s dream chasers who shared a common interest – such as Ingram and Never – to show how Delta can help all Angelenos in their pursuit of passions and opportunity.
