Global Agency Management Consultant – Creative and Production Focused

The role marketing plays is critical to Dell’s future and success. We are heavily focused on transforming marketing at Dell to be customer-centric, data and technology enabled - being targeted, personalized, AND more efficient. ?A critical enabler of our transformation is having the right strategic marketing partners.

The Global Agency Management will have a strong understanding of how to develop and maintain great partnerships, and a passion for driving process improvements and efficiencies to enable teams to produce best-in-class work within an effective cost model that delivers results. The successful candidate for this role will be a dynamic, self-motivated, next-generation marketing enthusiast, with experience in building data-driven, marketing automation-powered campaigns.

In addition to managing the key agency and partner relationships we have today, the candidate will also help set and drive the long-term agency strategies that align to Dell’s marketing organization transformation. As Dell embraces AdTech-enabled tools, data-driven decisioning and content-led conversations, the agency model, partners and processes need to evolve at an aggressive pace. Through strategic projects, the Consultant will be a critical thought leader and partner in guiding change management across global teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage agency and partner relationships inclusive of day-to-day management, agency staffing models, managing quarterly financial processes, contract adherence and special projects.
  • Take ownership of and accountability for strategic projects that encompass both internal and agency processes, people and skills that influence and set direction for marketing/change management to evolve.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders in the development of proposals and estimates related to Media, social media, digital, and ad tech areas.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including global and regional marketers, legal, procurement and finance organizations to ensure our agency and internal partners adhere to compliance, privacy and legal standards.
  • Oversee agency and vendor measurement and incentive programs that includes quantitative annual surveys, and qualitative stakeholder and agency discussions, to frame up opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications


  • 10+ years marketing experience and a passion for driving agency and vendor partnerships
  • Deep knowledge and experience in media planning, buying, and optimization, data-driven marketing technologies and curiosity to learn/stay up-to-date with industry changes and how they impact agency partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to improve processes
  • Proven track record building rapport, developing influence within, and delivering results from external and internal partners. Ability to be both diplomatic and influential in partnering with key stakeholders.
  • Agency experience, especially in media planning and buying area.

Desired Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree
  • Agency management experience
