Delivering Smart Fleet Monitoring Solutions for Revora

The Client

Eurocold Revora EV , a dynamic and innovative company, is actively shaping the future of commercial transport. They specialise in building and leasing electric, refrigerated trucks that stand at the intersection of sustainability and efficiency.

The Challenge

As part of their customer-centric approach, Revora was keen to provide their perspective clients with a vision of what a platform to monitor their electric truck fleet would look like. This platform had to present a wide range of metrics, from battery status and range to speed, distance travelled, and refrigerator operation and temperature. Moreover, it had to show how it could incorprate live tracking of trucks and detailed information about each charging station.

The Solution

Motta Consulting partnered with Revora to develop a suite of operational dashboards. Our task was to bring this platform to life, to serve as a proof of concept for future client-facing dashboards.

We created a data model using Alteryx, tapping into telematics and electrical grid data. This served as the backbone of our solution, enabling us to provide granular insights into every aspect of the fleet's operations.

We then used Tableau to build a user-friendly, interactive dashboard. The dashboard displays an array of metrics and includes a live map tracking each truck’s position and route. We also incorporated an example of a monitoring system for a customer site, detailing the status and electricity output of each charger, along with grid and solar system supply.

The Result

The result was an intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing set of dashboards. Our solution gives Revora's a way to practically show their customers how they will track their Revora electric trucks, offering a tantalising glimpse into the future of fleet monitoring. The dashboard was presented as part of the recent Brisbane Truck Show and proved very popular with attendees.
