Click the Sway
It's easier to explore visual content on a Sway. Click the card below to see all the information in the article, but as a Sway; where images, tables, score cards and word clouds are responsive to the type of device you use, and I have put extra effort into writing appropriate and informational alternative text, in case images aren’t your preferred way of absorbing information.

Sways are cool. I am not posting images to this article because the process to provide alternative text is frustrating. Sways are more elegant; in this layout of the LinkedIn Article the same visual information seems clunky.
Image to Discuss
A circle on the center of a gray background. The frame is long rectangular widthwise. In the center of the circle inside it appears Tools I Use to write.
Ten lines radiate from the perimeter of the circle splaying the frame in its entirety; the orientation of this image is right is the positive direction. At the tip of each line is a subtopic associated with Tools I Use to write, that is the keyword phrase in the center of this circle, also known as a bubble.
The list of subtopics starting from the top right side of the bubble is: markers, iPad pencil, "Keep it up babe" message, notes on phone with checklists, voice notes into otter.ai, writers.work to grade it, Microsoft Word, GoodNotes, like having all my paper journals in one spot, DayOne, emotional posts, poetry, rants, G drive, sways.
Image as a Table
The image I discuss in the video is now a table with two columns and eleven rows. The first row is headings 1 Keyword 2 Subtopic.
The keyword, Tools I Use to Write, is alone in the left-hand column, is associated with ten subtopics in the right-hand column.
The list of subtopics is: markers, iPad pencil, "Keep it up babe" message, notes on phone with checklists, voice notes into otter.ai, writers.work to grade it, Microsoft Word, GoodNotes, like having all my paper journals in one spot, DayOne, emotional posts, poetry, rants, G drive, sways.

Transcript Text
Hi, UX designers, this is Hilary Hilary Cluett. Today is video 20. And it is Wednesday, January 20th. Wednesdays are tools I use. So today I'm going to talk about tools I use to write. So we have the marker, right always a go to even in art school, I used a marker. And now that has translated over to the iPad pencil, where I have a little note on it that says keep it up babe. Message to myself. I also use my phone notes to create checklists, or if I'm listening to an audiobook, I'll I'll take notes down on my phone, if it's around. And if I've never really talked on the subject before, I'll actually just talk about it into otter.ai as a voice note, and record it that way. Once I have text that I've written or translated or transcribed, converted into text, I'll actually put it into writers.work and it grades it for me. So that's something I do with my clients. But I also do it for myself. And then I use Microsoft Word on top of that to grade it even further. Because you can enable a bunch of different tools that give you a lot of different text analysis that are just built right into word. So it's great. And I use GoodNotes. Again, I've talked about GoodNotes a bunch of times, that's what this is written on. I use GoodNotes to make my bubbles, I guess that's a tool I use to write. And it's basically like having all of my paper journals in one spot. So that's pretty fun. I really enjoy GoodNotes. I also have Day One. But that I find I use only for emotional posts. Or if I have a poem that comes to mind, or I need to rant out of frustration, I will pound away into Day One. And then I don't actually read that post again. So Day One is kind of my diary, if you will, and Google Drive. I'm starting to not actually create documents in G drive anymore. I use Microsoft Word and I will share it with people in Google Drive. But I don't type into Google Drive anymore. I think that's really interesting. Because last year, if I had done this bubble presentation, it would have all been about Google. and my Sways. I am I'm just gonna keep practicing these because I think it's very powerful. So those are the tools I use to write. what tools do you use? Let me know in the comments below. Okay, Happy Wednesday, everybody. I will see you tomorrow. Will I? yeah! Okay. Bye.
Keyword Frequency Table and Context
A table of twenty-one rows and three columns. The headings of each column are 1 Use Count 2 Keyword 3 Context. The middle column lists the twenty keywords from the audio file, the column to the left-hand of the keywords lists each one’s frequency of use, and to the very right-hand side is the context for each word.
In the Context column the semi-colon punctuation character delineates context if there are multiple instances of the same keyword during the presentation.
The following twenty keywords are on the list: tools, write, text, translated, day, note, Hilary, marker, grade, Wednesday, google drive, Microsoft Word, google, January 20th, post, poem, talk, checklists, anymore, rant.
Tables, images, and alt text are all available on the Sway. It can open on any device. To view a table to list the keywords from the audio file, frequency of use, and context please open the Sway.
Word Cloud Image
Otter.ai generates this word cloud automatically when transcribing audio files to tangible text.
Twenty words appear in various orientations and sizes across a rectangular frame, from the top left-hand side to the bottom, the following twenty words appear: pound, tools, day, writers, checklists, Wednesday, Hilary, translated, grade, text, post, right, Google, notes, Google Drive, transcribed, marker, anymore, Bubble.
This is the same image from the title card of the YouTube Video except this image is branded by otter.ai with a dark navy-blue background with lighter blue, pink, green, purple, and grey writing to form the word cloud, where each word is written in different sizes and orientation.
Unfortunately, in this instance, I published the video with an outdated word cloud image before editing the transcribed text on otter.ai and therefore the twenty words in the word cloud image, for this instance only, are different than the twenty words in this list.
The twenty words in the keyword list are: tools, write, text, translated, day, note, Hilary, marker, grade, Wednesday, google drive, Microsoft Word, google, January 20th, post, poem, talk, checklists, anymore, rant.
