DELIVER: September 2022

Last week, I offered up The Leaducator, renewed. As I have noted before... going forward, I will be serving up monthly blogs including?The Leaducator?for educators ... offering thought and resources to support their efforts to ever?be?that?teacher who makes a lasting difference.?DELIVER?will be designed to support?Communitrepreneurs?as they unite and inspire to do what they do, in and for the world,?AuKwords?will be in support of Emergents. Then, the fourth week of each month, we will offer up?A PEACE of WORK?with something for everyone... and heavily driven and supported by?our work with TUGtv. DELIVER

This is DELIVER. Here we will explore character-driven leadership that unites and inspires. I have said before... once upon a time, to unite and inspire used to be a “good thing” for leaders to do.?It was a nice thought… a “get around to”…?mom and apple pie stuff.?Hold hands.?Sing Kumbaya. That time is done.??Time to fiercely unite and inspire. Without it…?division, distraction, defeat.??With it…?stand, deliver and win; however we best define it. Here, with DELIVER, we will explore thoughts in answer to:

• How do leaders unite and inspire when they?have?to in facing and forging change?
• How do you bring people together when you?have?to bring people together?
• How do we unite and inspire in this world of uncertainty, change, and challenge?

For now, consider the times and scenarios that can possibly demand addressing same. Maybe they are facing you now. As a College educator, I suggest that such times and scenarios are not unlike challenging Final Exams. We can know they are coming, but the question is how do we best prepare and ready ourselves. In times of triumph, it is ever and even more important to consider the inevitable trials and ready ourselves. That is not pessimism. Indeed and in deed it is Optimism and an understanding of the Infinite Game. My point is that uniting and inspiring is not about kumbaya. It is about doing the work ahead of the challenge... and consistently through trails, trials and triumphs alike.

In DELIVER, we will explore how we unite and inspire... ahead of and during great change and challenge. For now, I leave you with these videos on delivering on our message.
