Deliver It...
Welcome to your shiny next edition of this little LinkedIn Newsletter to help you do the following:
Focus. #deliver
It's delivered on a weekly basis (so far, I seem to be consistent around publishing it every Thursday even if you don't read it right away!).
I am going to sound a bit redundant redundant right now.
On purpose.
Last week, I published an article here reminding you to do this:
Building is the?best?thing.
However.
There is something even "bestest" to help you actually increase productivity by doing less (the promise of this weekly newsletter).
More below...
The Problem:?I Stopped Delivering
This week, imagine you and I are hanging out in a flower shop.
Random place?
Sure. In reality I don't hang out in flower shops but hey... don't judge... play along and think about what kind of flowers we are looking at together.
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I thought about what you said last week about building stuff. I looked and it turns out we are building lotsa stuff, but not delivering anything of consequence or value to our customers."
Wow.
You really are talkative today in this little imaginary flower shop, huh?
Sometimes stopping to smell the [imaginary] roses brings out the best in you.
And.

I'll keep my question around this problem to you today short:
What's the difference between BUILDING stuff and DELIVERING stuff?
The Actionable Tip: #deliver
OK.
So... you are doing the great thing and BUILDING stuff.
Now.
#deliver (smile).
Your Next Step...
You can -- and probably should -- share this article with your team and organization (heck, ask them to subscribe while they are reading this lol) AND discuss this topic together.
If you can't meet face-to-face to have this discussion, do this over #zoom or #slack or #teams or #googlemeet or some #vulcan mindmeld.
Got it?
Good.
Here is the part where?I need YOU to contribute YOUR actionable tip?for others who are reading this short article....
Please share ONE actionable tip in the comments below about what you have learned by delivering stuff to your customers (instead of just building stuff).
Go.
Thank you.
