Each organisation has their own method to retain employees, such as salary, bonus, stocks, perks, benefits, open culture, etc. Immaterial of how many methods or concept is used to retain them, there would be one common thread, i.e., the vibrant company culture.
Once employees start believing in the company culture — they feel empowered as they are part of the culture and will be proud to share the same outside the company as well. The best brand value for a company comes first from its employees and second from their customers.
Without a happy employee, how can one delight their customers?
Delighted Customers can exist only if employees are happy, which is directly proportional to and dependent on a strong company culture that emphasises the importance of values more than anything else.
Culture is the most crucial aspect for any company more than revenue, profitability, etc., as it shapes everything else as the company scales. It’s like a building foundation, it may not be visible, but it’s the most important feature.
Not every employee will be open enough to speak their views, and it’s essential that the culture is built in a way that their issues are also addressed even though they might not be vocal enough; otherwise, the company might end up losing their best employee just because they didn’t speak up.
