Route 1: Delhi to Jaipur Via Neemrana on NH 48 Including Must Visit Attractions
Delhi – Gurgaon – Bhiwadi – Neemrana – Jaipur
If you are the one who wants to reach the destination as soon as possible. This is the best route for you. It is a 250 to 280 km journey that you can easily cover in 4-5 hours. NH 48 offers a smooth ride with well-maintained roads and numerous food and fuel stops along the way. The town is famous for its ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. It is around 122 km from Delhi and 150 km from Jaipur. Here is the list of places you can visit in Neemrana:
Neemrana Fort - It is a 15th-century fort that is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills which has not been converted into a luxury heritage hotel. You can stay or have your lunch there. If you are an adventurous person you can go for a zipline, which will give you a better view of this place.
Neemrana Baoli- This ancient stepwell, believed to be built in the 16th century, is a little bit haunting, but the architectural structure is quite appealing.
Ancient Vrindavan Palace- Once used to be a haveli is now left with only ruins is a lesser known historical building. If you want to see the glimpse of Neemrana’s past it is worth a quick stop.

If you have a bit more time and want to explore various things. This is the route you should consider. Located around 170 km from Delhi and 180 km from Jaipur. Alwar is a great destination for forts, lakes and wildlife. You can take a rest of one night here, in case you are leaving late from Delhi. Here is the list of places you can visit in Alwar:
Alwar City Palace: This palace is a beautiful example of Rajput architecture and known as Vinay Vilas Palace. This 18th century palace is now converted into a museum, where you can see the old scriptures, armours, furniture and clothes.
Alwar Fort or Bala Qila: It is believed to be built in the 15th century and offers a wonderful view of Alwar town. It consists of more than 50 towers, a few temples and a few old buildings.
Siliserh Lake: A perfect place to do boating and enjoying the surroundings, Siliserh lake is a handmade lake made by Maharaja Vinay Khan in 18th century
Sariska Tiger Reserve: Take a jeep safari through Sariska National Park and spot tigers, leopards, and a variety of birdlife. You can also visit the 6th century old Neelkanth temple and the Pandupol Hanuman temple.

You will have two options, if you choose this route, one is either you want to visit one place, Mandawa or Nawalgarh or stay overnight at any of the places and explore both.
Mandawa is also referred to as the "Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan's” for the architectural beauty of these havelis and stories depicted on the walls. Here is the must-see havelis include:
Jhunjhunwala’s Haveli: This haveli is famous for its gold leaf work
Murmuria Haveli: Known for its hunting scenes, battles, wild animals and freedom fighters
Goenka Double Haveli: A unique two haveli, with its symmetrical architecture.
