What tasks outside of your business are taking up your time? How might you begin delegating some personal tasks to give you an enhanced sense of put-togetherness this month?

?“Getting a personal assistant is on my bucket list.” This is something I have heard more times than I can count. Leaders mistakenly view hiring an assistant for personal tasks as a luxury that only high-net-worth individuals enjoy, but I hold a different view.?

If it frees you up to create a greater impact overall, there’s nothing wrong with delegating personal tasks to your VA or another individual.

I personally have two (2) assistants:?

• One is local to me and regularly works onsite in my home, handling tasks that must be completed in person. (3-5 hours per week)The other is completely virtual, has more advanced skills, and can support me with both business and personal tasks as needed. (3-5 hours per week)

?? Tool: Equip to Empower

Trello is my go-to project management tool for delegating tasks to my in-person assistant. I have the Trello app on my phone and iPad, and I drop tasks as Cards on a Board as I think of things I need. Then, I review these with my assistant in our weekly sync.
