Delegate multiple workflow work items at the same time in D365FO

It is already an older feature, but by accident I came across this feature: Delegate multiple work items. Because this feature is not enabled by default, I thought it would be good to share it.

Without the feature you can already delegate work items of workflow:

But when you select multiple work items, the 'Workflow' button will be greyed out:

So if you want to delegate these work items, you have to select them one by one to be able to use the workflow options.

After enabling the feature 'Delegate multiple work items' a new button 'Delegate work items' is available in the form. This button is also available when you select multiple work items, also if the 'Workflow' button is greyed out:

Now you can select the user to delegate to and enter a comment when necessary:

After confirming these settings with the 'Delegate work items', the work items are delegated and not in my list of open work items anymore:

Note: On the Microsoft Learn page is mentioned that the feature is disable by default. This is also my experience. Als is mentioned that this manual mass delegation only works for the following workflow types: Purchase agreement approval workflow, Purchase order workflow, Purchase requisition review, and Vendor invoice workflow.

My experience is that this option is available for more workflow types, also because of the example I used in this article (General Journals). But also if I use the 'Proposed vendor change workflow' the Delegation option is available:

And also here the delegation works successful:
